The Human Resource Assistant reports to the LOVARC HRA & Co-CEO and assists with all Human Resource activities at our main office in downtown Lompoc. This job is a non-remote 25- 35 hrs./ week.
A partial list of responsibilities include:
Being first line notified for any workplace injury, and handling all aspects of worker's compensation tasks including interfacing with injured staff, their managers, health clinics and the insurance company.
Maintaining our OSHA Safety Program with corresponding documentation; performing safety training groups and individuals; and working with all employees and managers to help maintain safe work environments and prevent workplace injuries.
Running all aspects of job recruitment including posting, interviewing, arranging site tours, reference-checking and making job offers.
