Human Resources Director plans and oversees human resources functional operations, including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, safety, and compliance. Administers human resources programs and policies to reflect the organization's mission and values, support company goals, achieve objectives, and positively engage the workforce. Being a Human Resources Director maintains broad and current subject matter knowledge and expertise in federal and state employment laws to advise leadership with solutions for human resources issues and evolving organizational needs. Implements an HRIS or other system to facilitate processes and provide data and reporting on HR activity. Additionally, Human Resources Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Human Resources Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Human Resources Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. The Director of Facilities and Maintenance is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, supervising, and coordinating the activities of the Facilities and Maintenance Department. These activities are necessary to maintain the safe operation of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, utilities, grounds, and all other physical structures of the hospital. The Director of Facilities and Maintenance will work as an integral part of the management team in cooperation with administration and other hospital departments and personnel to provide a healthy and safe environment that supports Bitterroot Health’s Mission and Vision. The Director is responsible for ongoing development of their team.  Together they must take pride in and ownership of our buildings and grounds.  The Director utilizes industry best practices, and continuously strives to improve and enhance our facilities for the benefit of our community. This position is salaried/exempt as defined under the Fair Labor Standards Act. Hours for this position may include weekends and evenings. Participation in the On-call rotation is required Minimum Qualifications: Prefer at least general knowledge or working experience of boilers, heating and cooling units, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration and ventilation equipment and controls. Prefer general knowledge of carpentry, drywalling, painting and floor care, and other maintenance functions. Must be able to work a flexible schedule. Benefits: This position is 40 hrs/wk with call. Position is eligible for the full benefit package.
