Human Resources Director jobs in Phoenix, AZ

Human Resources Director plans and oversees human resources functional operations, including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, safety, and compliance. Administers human resources programs and policies to reflect the organization's mission and values, support company goals, achieve objectives, and positively engage the workforce. Being a Human Resources Director maintains broad and current subject matter knowledge and expertise in federal and state employment laws to advise leadership with solutions for human resources issues and evolving organizational needs. Implements an HRIS or other system to facilitate processes and provide data and reporting on HR activity. Additionally, Human Resources Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Human Resources Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Human Resources Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     ABOUT THE DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES 

    As the Director of Human Resources, you will direct and lead a team of HR professionals and oversee the administrative functions of the home office. You will drive the expectations of partnership and collaboration with Operations to ensure our employee experiences are best in class.

    • Develop and execute Human Resource strategies aligned with company's goals and objectives. 
    • Oversee compliance related to hiring new team members and leaders. 
    • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture by managing employee relations, resolving conflicts, and implementing effective communication strategies. 
    • Ensure all Human Resource policies, procedures, and practices are compliant with federal and state labor laws and regulations. 
    • Implement development programs to enhance employee skills, foster career growth, and improve overall performance. 
    • Lead the employee benefits programs to support the well-being of our employees. 
    • Oversee the performance appraisal process, providing guidance to managers and employees to improve performance and productivity. 
    • Establish and monitor Human Resources metrics and analytics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs. 
    • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. 
    • Optimize the Employee Engagement programs that reward and recognize employees, track and measure for success. 
    • Be vigilant in embedding the mission and values of the organization in all practices. 
    • Manage and recommend resources allocation that is responsible meets the overall companies fiscal objectives.

    Requirements

    • The Director of Human Resources role is a 100% on-site at our corporate headquarters - The Lab 
    • Bachelor's degree with focus in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred) 
    • 3 or more years of experience with employee relations, conducting investigations, and leading a team of HR professionals 
    • Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience 
    • SHRM-CP certification or higher
