Job Summary:
The Human Resource Generalist will recruit, screen, and interview job applicants and place newly hired employees in jobs. The HR Generalist will also assist with benefits, training, employee relations and HR compliance.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Explain regulations, policies, or procedures.
- Administer personnel recruitment or hiring activities.
- Perform human resources activities.
- Evaluate personnel practices to ensure adherence to regulations.
- Maintain data in information systems or databases.
- Coordinate personnel recruitment activities.
- Develop training materials.
- Train personnel to enhance job skills.
- Review license or permit applications.
- Maintain records, documents, or other files.
- Interview employees, customers, or others to collect information.
- Conduct eligibility or selection interviews.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- 3 years-experience as an HR professional, minimum of 2 years in a role focused on employment law and compliance preferred.
