The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the facility’s success through assisting with attracting, selecting, and onboarding capable and qualified talent; provide ongoing delivery of Human Resources related services to create an environment of trust and positive employee relations, foster an environment of open two-way communication, and supports a safe, inclusive, and engaged culture.
A few other key areas of responsibility include:

Partner with HR senior leadership to develop strategies, plans, and actions that support business objectives and drive an environment of productive employee relations.

Respond to employee inquires in a timely manner and provides proactive solutions to day-to-day challenges. Escalate unresolved matters to appropriate management. Coach supervisors on employee-related issues, complaints, or problems to minimize reoccurrence. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations when needed.

Interpret, act, and hold others accountable for compliance with federal and state regulations and company policies regarding affirmative action and other employment practices. Coach others to assure policies are administered in a fair and equitable manner.

Assure proper employment and Human Resources related documentation and record retention.

Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resources files, records and documentation for employees.

Coordinate employee engagement in company sponsored community activities and participate in such activities. Represent the company in job and career fairs and other appropriate public events.

Provides oversight management and coordination of vendors related to employee relations services.

Handle all administrative tasks for facility onboarding, new hire orientation and exit interviews, including entering data into HR Information Systems and auditing for accuracy and compliance of all employees.
Basic skills and experiences:

Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred. Minimum four years of successful performance as a Human Resources generalist and/or in a specialized Human Resources role with a strong understanding of HR best practices and a track record of building relationships.

Solid knowledge and understanding of state and federal employment laws, strong analytical ability, demonstrated perseverance, ability to maintain confidential information, and excellent time management skills.

Excellent leadership and conflict resolution skills. Requires excellent verbal, written and relationship management skills. Must demonstrate diplomacy and tact and ability to understand multiple perspectives while interacting with others within and outside of the organization.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Must be able to perform job duties independently, exercising independent good judgment and discretion in a professional manner. Is resourceful and adaptable to perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
