We are adding a Human Resources Generalist at the Stewarts Shops Corporate Office in Saratoga Springs! This position will expose you to many areas of Personnel including payroll, benefits, and employee relations.
Responsibilities:
Assist in processing a weekly payroll for over 4,000 employees.
Ensure payroll is accurate by analyzing various payroll reports.
Authorize employee updates in UKG payroll software including new hires, terminations, pay adjustments, etc.
Manage background check and drug testing process for new hires.
Explain employee benefits and answer questions as needed.
Requirements:
Must be organized and have strong communication skills in order to prioritize workload and become a reliable part of our team.
Support our shop employees with any personnel or payroll related questions.
Ability to handle confidential information with a high level of professionalism and discretion.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to write reports is preferred.
Bachelors degree in business administration or related field preferred.

100% company paid retirement & benefits package.
Starting Pay: $25-$30/hour.
Monday - Friday, 8:00am 4:30pm.

Schenectady (/skəˈnɛktədi/) is a city in Schenectady County, New York, United States, of which it is the county seat. As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 66,135. The name "Schenectady" is derived from a Mohawk word, skahnéhtati, meaning "beyond the pines".
