Human Resources Generalist jobs in Tucson, AZ

The HR Generalist partners with the HR Manager to manage and facilitate all HR-functions, agency wide; with a focus on compliance with all federal, state, and licensing regulations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Coordinates hiring and recruitment functions for the agency, including sourcing potential staff, interviewing, and collaborating with agency leadership to manage and fill open positions
• Assists with new hire orientation and onboarding of new staff, including coordination of new hire paperwork and preparation of new employee files
• Monitors and maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment
• Maintains high standards of privacy and confidentiality with regard to HR and personnel matters at all time
• Assists in coordination of benefits administration and payroll
• Oversees HRIS and other HR records systems and ensures accurate data within
• May perform other reasonable duties or special projects as necessary to support a team environment

Qualifications:

• Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Current/Valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
• Human Resources background preferred, equivalent experience and education will be considered
• Strong computer and software skills, including MS Office Suite
• Experience with behavioral health or general healthcare preferred, but not required
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
