Role Summary: The HR Generalist is responsible for carrying out in conjunction with operational leaders employee relations, training and education, leave management, compensation, recruitment, onboarding, and employee performance discussions.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
· Works with Managers and Supervisors to help enforce policies, procedures and practices on Human Resources matters.
· Communicates changes in policies and facilitates necessary associated education.
· Works with Manager and Supervisors on employee relations and employee performance evaluation activities in respective area.
· Responsible for the lifecycle of the workers compensation claims.
· Participates in the area’s training and education program.
· Conducts area’s sourcing, recruitment, and onboarding efforts in conjunction with leadership.
· Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration preferred. Related experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
· A minimum of three years of human resource management experience preferred.
· Bilingual in Spanish required.
Certificates & Licenses:
· Professional in Human Resources (PHR), SPHR, certification preferred.
Physical Requirements/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
· Ability to write, communicate, understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information in English.
· Ability to plan, organize, and carry out assignments from management staff with minimal direction.
· Ability to analyze situations, interpret data and make decisions that have moderate impact on immediate work unit.
· Ability to organize and prioritize job duties in an effective and timely manner, set priorities and meet critical deadlines.
· Ability to maintain accurate files and records.
· Physical requirements for this position include hearing, seeing, speaking, feeling, reaching, pinching, and repetitive motions.
· This position requires standing and walking for long periods of time.
· This position requires exerting up to 20 pounds of force in order to lift, carry, pull, or move objects.
