Position Overview:
We're seeking a dedicated individual interested in building a career, not just seeking a job. If you have experience in the construction trades or a similar field, you could be the ideal candidate to join our team as an Assembler, focusing on commercial refrigeration units.
Reporting To: Production Manager
Job Function: Assembly of components and subassemblies to produce high-quality commercial refrigerated fixtures.
Job Level: Individual Contributor
Employment Status: Full-time, Regular
Work Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Location: LaGrange, OH

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (8-10 hours).
• Strong commitment to safety management practices.
• Excellent dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling, manipulating, and assembling parts.
• Team-oriented with a keen focus on quality control.
• Eagerness to learn assembly, shipping, and warehouse operations.

Work Environment

• Communication: Frequent interaction with coworkers and Warehouse Management.
• Setting: General warehouse environment with mandatory PPE.
• Attire: Company-provided uniform pants and t-shirt. Associates are responsible for steel-toed boots.

Primary Responsibilities

• Align and position components of commercial refrigerated fixtures.
• Utilize hand tools for assembly tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment.
• Understand parts lists for preparation and assembly.
• Ensure specifications are met for all components.
• Uphold a safe and efficient work environment.
• Contribute to conservation efforts by judicious use of equipment and supplies.
