Advanced Mechanical Inc. is seeking a bookkeeper that is responsible for the Company's accounting practices, maintenance of all financial records, and the preparation and organization of financial reports and filings. The position also involves supervision of the Company's budgetary process and the management of general accounting functions.

Optional supplemental pay if willing to assist with weekend dispatching as part of rotation

Position: Bookkeeper

Location: Hillsborough, New Hampshire

Job Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the Company's financial record keeping and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles
• Enter and record deposits and payments accurately in online record keeping system
• Create thorough invoicing routine using online record keeping system
• Ensure accounting policy and procedure as required
• Create reporting, reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts
• Coordinate and manage company relationships with outsourced accounting firm as needed to ensure efficient and effective use of company funds
• Ensure all financial information is accurate
• Perform general administrative duties
• Ensure compliance with multistate sales tax filings

Job Skills and Qualifications

· 3 years of bookkeeping experience

· Ability to perform financial analysis and drive financial responsibility

· Proficient use of financial computer software

· Demonstrate ability to communicate complex financial issues appropriately

· Expertise in Quickbooks or related program

Preferred

· Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

· Multistate bookkeeping experience
