HVAC Supervisor jobs in Danbury, CT
HVAC Supervisor supervises and coordinates the operations, maintenance and service repairs on heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems. Oversees the installation of new units and replacement parts and ensures work is completed according to company, product, or engineering specifications and established safety guidelines. Being an HVAC Supervisor conducts quality testing and inspections. May authorize equipment, supplies, parts, or repairs purchases. Additionally, HVAC Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree. Requires an HVAC Mechanical State License and EPA Section 608 Certification (CFC). Typically reports to a manager. The HVAC Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an HVAC Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Position Summary: To provide maintenance on a variety of residential and light commercial heating and air conditioning systems, offering the customer a high-quality experience. Make recommendations and educate customers on products.
Work Hours: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
Pay Rate: $15.00/hr to $25.00/hr depending on experience

Required Qualifications:
- Willingness to travel to the service area
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
- Excellent customer service skills
- Professional appearance
- Ability to follow directions given, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to comply with all safety rules
- Ability to handle system start-up and adjustments
- Primary focus will be served, but must be able to assist lead installer as needed
Desired Qualifications:
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- HVAC Tech school certificate
- EPA Universal Certification
