IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT THIS POSITION:
1 - HYBRID ON SITE POSITION - Candidates MUST be onsite at the Boise office a MINIMUM of 3-days/week, so please ONLY submit LOCAL CANDIDATES willing to work fully onsite as required.
2 - FINGERPRINTING – In addition to the standard background check you are required to run on the selected candidate prior to starting (see Compliance tab for details), the agency requires an additional fingerprinting background check processes that will be coordinated through ITD directly once the candidate is selected. Selected candidate MUST complete the fingerprinting following the instructions they will be provided, and RESULTS MUST BE RETURNED CLEAR before they can begin work.
3 - Candidates MUST HAVE the required BA experience working SPECIFICALLY with IT software implementation or upgrade projects. DO NOT submit candidates who do not have this specific experience.
ITD is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to work on a multi-million-dollar software project scheduled to last approximately 3 years. The main tasks will include performing detailed business and system requirements analysis, documenting processes, creating workflows, and developing use cases, user stories, and test scenarios.
Responsibilities:

Work with the project manager, business area and vendor project team to perform a detailed business and system requirements analysis and document results.

Gather, define, translate, and document business and system requirements.

Document business processes and workflows to ensure logical and efficient business practices.

Develop use cases, user stories, and test scenarios, provide oversight of test plans, functional testing, and verify solution.

Identify gaps in business processes and the software system.

Effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.

Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.

Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements.

Assist vendor is developing procedures.

Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and users.

Monitor deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
