Implementation Manager jobs in Appleton, WI

We are looking to expand the Warehouse Management System (WMS) team and are looking for a WMS Implementation Trainer to manage our mentoring and train-the-trainer programs to help Manhattan users increase their skillset.  This full-time position will report to the Director of Training.  This position is based out of the home office but will work remotely via video conference and require travel to various WSI locations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execute our train-the-trainer and mentoring programs - identifying skill gaps and evaluating how to fill them
• Identify when individuals should "level up" and take the next level of training, super-user level
• Become a system super-user on Manhattan Associates - Warehouse Management System (WMS) software
• Work with WMS Team to support design, implementation, knowledge transfer, and sustainability
• Travel to various WSI sites (25%) to perform duties related to preparation and Go Live support

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Willingness and ability to travel frequently to various WSI sites to assist in preparation and implementation
• Ability to impart others about Manhattan and work collaboratively to drive system improvement
• Basic to moderate skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook, willing to build skills as needed to perform duties
• Accountability to follow through on assigned tasks and responsibilities with minimal supervision
• Ability to communicate clearly and directly in a professional manner, both verbally and written

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Experience with stand-up training, classroom, mentoring, etc., preferred
• Minimum 2 years of previous lift truck experience; various types of equipment preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a warehouse environment preferred
• Demonstrated ability to think creatively, trace issues to the root cause, and document findings

PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to sit for extended periods through hot and cold temperatures
• Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and uniforms that are provided by the company
