The Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR) empowers individuals with disabilities to maximize employment, achieve economic self-sufficiency and independence, and to contribute back to society. We also help businesses and employers recruit, retain and accommodate employees with disabilities.
OVR is seeking a Grants Administrator to administer approved financial agreements with third parties and monitor compliance with grant agreements.
The duties of this position include:
- Reviews consumer transactions through the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR) Case Management System (CMS) and releases for payment. Produces semi-annual report of authorization reviews. Reviews changes in laws and regulations to maintain an in-depth knowledge of purchasing rules, codes, fee schedules and contractual agreement guidelines.
- Assists with the annual development and oversight of agency contracts related to Pre-Employment Transitional Services (Pre-ETS), Transitions, and Subminimum Wage Employment. Coordinates the financial reimbursement process for the Pre-ETS and Transitions services. Completes audits on entities under these services.
- Reviews, approves, and releases consumer transactions and authorizations for payment in the Pre-ETS, Transitions, and Subminimum Wage Employment services. Utilizes the CMS and works with field staff to ensure accurate records relating to services.
- Serves as the backup for contract development and monitoring, transitions programming, subminimum wage programming, and vendor processing. Enters vendors into CMS and the EMARS system.
- Performs other duties as required.
