Import/Export Administrator administers the documentation processes required to import and export merchandise and materials in compliance with federal, state, local, or country-specific regulations. Prepares and reviews all required documentation, coding, and calculations of duties, tariffs, price conversions. Being an Import/Export Administrator completes any required payment transactions that accompany shipments. Ensures that all documentation is up to date and recorded in tracking systems. Additionally, Import/Export Administrator typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Mission statement: to support the North America's Design Team through a broad range of activities. Critical to this position will be the ability to work between multiple locations each week & provide a diverse range of support to the team. Responsibilities will vary week to week depending on the needs of the team. Weight requirement: lifting up to 25 lbs. Reliable transportation as this position requires working regularly between multiple Sage locations. Applicable mileage reimbursement included.
Design Department Support at CUICAR (Greenville, SC) - 2 days per week
· Maintain permanent record sample files
· Precision print, mount and cut design show boards for customer presentation
· Organize CAD files for emboss, print and other surface design capabilities keep virtual emboss matrix up to date
· Maintain supplies for 2nd floor Design Department
· Shipping design samples as needed via FedEx
· Organize and maintain files on show samples (trifolds, etc)
· Print CADs for designers as needed
· Reconcile P-card account charges
· Receive ordered items in Jomar system
· Design research as needed Image or trend-related design research.
· Benchmarking support – photography and organization of captured data into PowerPoint.
· Maintain Design Team Group Calendar
Sample Library Support Cotton Blossom– 3 days per week
· Maintain design reference for available print screens
· Maintain design reference of available emboss plates
· Maintain digital scans of requested record swatches from sample library
· Maintain sold design reference swatches or photos
· Assist in sample library with mounting and labeling 3 days per week.
· Assist with sample library shipping 3 days per week
· Maintain swatch & roll goods inventory at Cotton Blossom
· Use Jomar to understand distribution needs for each order as well as closing out steps once they’re completed
· Assist in keeping library organized and working surfaces clear
· Create FedEx labels as needed at CB
· Approve & code FedEx invoices for Design & Development shipments.
· Place orders for supplies as needed. This will include office supplies such as staples, labels, & paper as well as shipping boxes
· Assist with any special projects such as T4T (mounting/labeling samples on boards)
· Help with Segment presentation prep
