We’re planning to hire someone who will be based in the ISS headquarters in Bothell, WA, although the job will most likely be a combination of office work, working remotely and some limited scheduled travel (when current situation changes to allow or course). ISS is well experienced in working remotely and achieving our business objectives. We can be flexible for the right candidate.

Account Manager Responsibilities
- Report to the Sr. Manager of Sales Enablement and be coached by the Director of Sales as part of a sales team that is responsible for fostering our ongoing Customer Success Practice, which includes the development of account business strategies for existing and new customers. This involves the discovery of customer business requirements, developing solution proposals, and progressing-to-close active sales opportunities, while continuing to build a healthy qualified sales opportunity pipeline.
- Be responsible for contacting new sales inquiries and leads to understand project requirements and develop solutions based on our portfolio of software products (AVEVA, octoplant, ProcessVue, etc.).
- Be responsible for contacting existing customers on active software support agreements to both renew those agreements and convert those customers to subscriptions.
- Partner with the Sales Enablement & Marketing teams to nurture and educate new and existing customers and progress annual automation spend.
- Build and maintain successful relationships with prospects and existing customers, collaborate with management on business strategy to determine objectives, evaluate current business performance, and maximize business reach and potential in collaboration with the sales team.
- Participate in a Team Selling approach to create contract-winning presentations and proposals for current and prospective customer opportunities in line with customer-stated business and operational objectives.
- Collaborate with pre-sales engineering and technical teams to ensure proposed solution specifications are appropriate to meet customer requirements and expectations.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure company requirements are met, such as sales targets and profit/margin goals in line with our Customer Success Practice.
- Build general subject matter expertise on portfolio offerings, become highly familiar with our commercial offerings and business processes, understand the available external technical and commercial resources, and remain up to date with general industry news.
Experience Required
- Candidates with minimum 3 years sales experience will be prioritized.
- Candidates with an educational background in business/commerce will be prioritized. (Bachelor's in Business Administration, Bachelor of Commerce, etc.)
