Responsibilities
- Must maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures.
- Receives incoming shipments into inventory, posts in online system and places items in warehouse
- Makes recommendations to management with respect to product and process improvements
- Assists with physical inventory
- Properly label and store received goods for future identification and retrieval
- Maintain all warehouse locations, bins, and racks in a neat and orderly fashion
- Properly keep designated stocking locations stocked as required
- Pull stock for all “Pick- Pack-Ship” orders for daily customers
- Provide correct parts and materials for daily production orders
- Performs other related duties as required
Skills and Abilities
- Basic computer skills in MS Office, internet and email
- Experience working in ERP or Inventory system such as Prelude a plus
- Excellent attention to detail
- Applicants should possess the ability to interact with customers, and team-members in a professional manner. Some leadership experience a plus.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Requires a proficiency in math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in units of measure. Additionally, must be able to perform calculations using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
- The ability to pull, push, grasp, bend, lift and carry up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience
- Reliable transportation is a must
- Must be able to work independently
- Ability to interact professionally with all employees and customers
- Ability to work overtime, as required
- Ability to pull, push, grasp, bend, lift and carry up to 50 lbs independently on a repeated basis
- Ability to consistently move throughout facility during the full workday
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Must have a mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn about how our products are produced on equipment
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory software and to create packing list
- Basic math skills
- Properly measure with a tape measure
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in an industrial setting
- 1-2 years of warehousing or production experience in an industrial setting
- Requires excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Knowledge of tooling and tool maintenance
- Proven measurement and mathematical fraction/decimal conversion skills
- Requires ability to organize and prioritize workload and be able to interact effectively with all types of people in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
