Dr. Jarrett Schanzer is a top aesthetic medicine injector and social media personality in Miami/NYC and we are looking for a highly motivated, hard-working medical assistant to join our team as we grow our medspa.
REQUIREMENTS
- MUST BE AVAILABLE to work Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 11am-8pm in the OFFICE and on other days from HOME as patient coordinator Wednesday and Friday (~6 hours per day) and weekends (~30 minutes per day replying to patient messages). Please don't apply if you are in school or if your schedule conflicts with these days/hours.
- BILINGUAL (Fluent in English/Spanish - Excellent verbal and written communication skills/perfect spelling). You will be talking directly with patients in person/on the phone and via email/text messages.
- Have a car and able to drive (free parking)

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work alongside and assist Dr. Jarrett with patient care during injection days
- Miscellaneous errands (ie. food orders) - Dr. Jarrett pays for lunch everyday!! =)
- Hands on! Directly operate our radiofrequency microneedling device (SylfirmX) on patients (education will be provided)
- Set up injection area before and after patients
- Prepare injectable materials (very easy, education will be provided)
- Review patient chart and make sure forms are completed/signed
- Write down brief notes dictated from Dr. Jarrett into patient records. Manage and maintain patient records and medical documentation
- Check in/check out patients (education will be provided)
- Photography: We have a social media manager, but the medical assistant will be responsible for taking before and after photos of patients and recording some videos
- Collaborate with our social media manager on ads/marketing campaigns/email blasts
- Analyze statistical data and marketing trends weekly with Dr. Jarrett
- Manage customer service and tech support/EMR system related to patient care
- Manage text message communication with patients via WhatsApp Business, Verizon OneTalk app, and the business instagram DMs.
- Attend social events and networking events to promote the business
- Organize and maintain medical supplies inventory (education will be provided)
- Patient data entry for rewards programs. Talk with company drug reps (education will be provided)
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred
- Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is highly desirable
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Proficient in using phone systems and electronic medical record (EMR) software (education will be provided)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Personality traits: Kind, friendly, excellent bedside manner, empathetic, follows instructions
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping
