The Role:

The Industrial Engineering Intern will gain hands on experience to complement technical coursework. Interns will be exposed to the various Quality tools used in industry, and will have the ability to develop and drive performance dashboards. Interns will also be exposed to hardware test techniques and will have an opportunity to contribute to system design. Interns will be assigned roles on projects consistent with their level of education and experience.

The iA Summer Intern Program is May 28th to August 2nd.

What you'll do:

• Assisting the test team by overseeing reliability tests conducted on various sub-systems/systems
• Supporting product performance analysis, compiling data for investigation
• Assisting in the creation and maintenance of performance dashboards
• Generating and reviewing reliability block diagrams and various failure mode documentations

Who you are:

• Undergraduate student majoring in: Industrial Engineering or related field
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Ability to respond to changing situations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and high organization skills
• High proficiency with computer programs
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills

It would be great if you also have:  

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work independently
• Results driven
• Knowledge in Python, SQL, Tableau
