Responsibilities

• Assist customers with inquiries and provide product recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including stocking shelves and ensuring products are properly displayed.
• Manage cash handling processes, including operating the cash register and processing transactions accurately.
• Support shift management by overseeing daily operations and ensuring compliance with store policies.
• Participate in employee orientation and training development to foster a knowledgeable team environment.
• Conduct regular price checks and assist in maintaining accurate pricing throughout the store.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve overall store performance.
• Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels and assist in ordering products as needed.

Skills

• Previous experience in retail management or as an assistant manager is preferred.
• Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in transaction processing.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Ability to manage shifts effectively while ensuring operational efficiency.
• Experience in training development is a plus, enabling you to guide new associates successfully.
• Proficiency in retail math to assist with pricing, inventory management, and sales analysis.
• A positive attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
