Information Security Analyst jobs in Portsmouth, OH

Education: College Degree preferred but not required.

Experience: This is an entry level position no experience is required but preference will be given to candidates with experience.

Knowledge: Understand basic IT security concepts. Read and understand company IT security policies & procedures. Typically handles security issues that are non-technical or well documented in nature such as reviewing various logs from different sources looking for specified criteria. Follows documented process for resolution or reports/escalates findings to IT Security Analyst. Expected to be self-driven and enhance skills & understanding through various resources (e.g. webinars, etc…). Expected to interact professionally with other co-workers/customers/vendors. 

Skills: Web Application Firewalls

• Application Whitelisting

• Proxy/Webfilter solutions

• Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS)

• SIEM Solutions

• Network Access Control

• Next Generation Anti-Virus

• Use of GSuite office products

• Ability to effectively communicate in English language verbally and written.

• Ability to document issues and follow documented procedures and work instructions

• Work effectively in a team environment with minimal supervision

• Analyze issues and identify the proper solutions to those issues

• Ability to learn new skills

• Scripting languages Python/Perl

• Certified in Cybersecurity by ISC2
