The NextGen Development Analyst is responsible for resolving NextGen template, document, and SQL report customization requests, development of OSIS Solution offerings using, but not limited to SQL, Crystal Reports, NG Template Editor while providing high-quality customer service, properly documenting and timely communication of development/needs and collaborating with numerous departments to ensure timely resolution as well as building relationships that facilitate client confidence in OSIS and the organization’s team members.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Builds and maintains client and internal relationships to drive mutually beneficial solutions and drive positive client experiences; acts as subject matter expert/consultant.
• Receives escalated tickets; resolves or escalates tickets based on client, client needs and application issues; communicates NextGen updates that need to be completed to resolve client issues with other internal resources as needed.

• Assists in educating internal and external teams about NextGen capabilities and feasibility, timeline, and cost of template modifications.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of client-specific customizations, OSIS Solutions development, and status updates.
• Responsible for follow-up on assigned client projects; participates in scheduled Client calls; remote and onsite training; acts as subject matter expert to other internal teams; evaluates the feasibility of client requests.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, scanners, copy machines and filing cabinets.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This is a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

TRAVEL:

No travel is expected for this position.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Associates degree or 5 years’ experience in Information Technology
• 3 years’ experience troubleshooting and developing NextGen software templates.
• NextGen Certified
• 2 years of SQL Experience Preferred
• 2 years of experience with SQL Stored Procedure knowledge
• 2 years of experience with Crystal Reports

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in Healthcare IT
• Knowledge of most up to date version of NextGen EHR and EPM

TELECOMMUTING AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position is considered a remote position with full telecommuting privileges.

Must have:

• Cable or Fiber Internet Service
• Download speed of 20Mbps or higher
• Upload speed of 5Mbps or higher
