    POSITION OVERVIEW

     

    The IT Technician is responsible for providing technical support of the computer and phone systems, and network infrastructure, this includes but is not limited to providing maintenance and support of the software systems used by the company.

     

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

     

    • Experience with Power BI (Business Intelligence)
    • Experience working with NetSuite, creating efficient processes for business departments to input information in a more customized method.  
    • Generating technical bulletins, documenting new software/hardware, and documenting changes to existing software/hardware
    • Setting up hardware/software for the purpose of testing new or changed products before they are released to the company users
    • Support of the field communications package
    • Install, troubleshoot and repair electronic control systems
    • Use all types of test and calibration equipment, volt meters, amp meters to test and calibrate control systems
    • Maintain a supply of parts
    • Develop SOP for installation and maintenance of equipment
    • Perform all other duties as assigned
    • Routine maintenance to the time clock and software, including adding new employees
    • Maintaining key access cards/gate cards for employees and restricting access as required
    • Responsible for company cellular phone distribution and maintenance
    • Excellent trouble shooting and problem solving skills
    • Ability to develop new ideas and work independently
    • Professional presence and demeanor
    • Support level knowledge of Windows operating systems, NetSuite, and other software the company uses
    • Minimum of a High School Diploma with 3 or more years’ experience in networking and networking equipment.  Associates Degree or higher preferred.   
    • Ability to work safety and adhere to all federal, state and company policies and procedures governing safe work practices
    • Effective written & verbal communication skills
    • Willingness to enhance knowledge through training and education
    • An attitude of professionalism and excellence in a fast-paced, demanding environment

     MONDAY-FRIDAY POSITION

     

    WORKING ENVIRONMENT


    While performing the duties of this job, on occasions the employee will be exposed to humid or outside weather conditions.  The job activities will require the employee to work in an office and shop/warehouse environment.  

     

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

     

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands, fingers, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.  The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, or kneel to perform maintenance on the equipment.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.   Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision and peripheral vision.  

     

    Flexibility in work schedule is also required for possible overtime, work on holidays, weekends and extended hours with minimal notice and as required by operational need.
