This vacancy is for a technical position within the Division of Regulatory & Utility Services in the Information Technology Department (ITD). It is for an IT Software Developer within the Systems Support unit. This unit supports highly complex, mission critical .Net based applications and vendor packages with various interfaces, both internal and external to the County. The IT Software Developer will be responsible for business processes and the impact of modifications to any of the above-mentioned applications. This position entails working cooperatively and professionally with technical staff, customers and with other members of the team.
Experience with the following is preferred:
C#; ASP.NET; ADO.NET; VB; .NET framework V4 and above; HTML5/CSS and responsive UI; JavaScript's framework, MVC architecture; Web Services and XML, SQL Server 2010 or higher to include SQL Reporting Services, and Crystal Reports.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor s degree. Two years of experience in software development and systems analysis are required. Additional related work experience in software development and systems analysis may substitute for the required college education on a year-for-year basis.
