Information Technology Director jobs in Minnesota
Information Technology Director establishes, plans, and administers the overall policies and goals for the information technology department. Analyzes the needs of different departments and determines ways to meet business objectives by modifying existing or developing new information processing systems. Being an Information Technology Director manages the research and selection of IT equipment, applications, and supplies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Information Technology Director typically reports to a CIO. The Information Technology Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be an Information Technology Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Key Responsibilities:
As the IT Director, you'll:
- Lead the IT team of 5 direct reports, setting the strategic direction for global SAP projects and key business applications.
- Manage global support, encompassing help desk services, cybersecurity, and business continuity.
- Oversee infrastructure & operations, including data networks, data center, and IT risk compliance.
- Drive portfolio management through systems prioritization and implementation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 10 years of corporate IT leadership experience.
- Proven experience maintaining and upgrading the SAP environment, with leadership in successful implementations preferred.
- Strong global project management experience.
- Cybersecurity and incident management expertise.
- ITIL Service Management Framework certification.
