Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the performance, integrity, and stability of our enterprise data processing environments
- Oversee both in-house systems and third-party cloud-based applications
- Conduct regular monitoring and validation of server configurations to ensure database security and stability
- Collaborate with the infrastructure team on Business Continuity (BC) testing
- Recommend and implement innovative technologies to improve stability, functionality, and security
- Execute data migrations and support platform installations and upgrades
- Keep the database environment current with service packs, hotfixes, and security updates
- Address performance or stability issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Engage proactively with team members and stakeholders to provide insights based on root cause analysis
- Ensure data integrity and minimize duplication while preventing data corruption
- Develop and implement system and data retention policies
- Contribute to the strategic planning and execution of departmental initiatives
- Coordinate with vendors and third-party providers for timely actions
- Share knowledge and mentor team members
- Lead small to moderate projects with minimal oversight
Required Skills
- Experience in managing SQL Server databases, including installation, configuration, backup, and disaster recovery
- Proficiency in writing and optimizing T-SQL queries
- Strong understanding of SQL Server security best practices, particularly in user access management
- Skills in performance tuning and optimizing server configurations
- Familiarity with SQL Server integrations with other systems and applications
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and lead projects
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities for effective root cause analysis
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for diverse stakeholder interactions
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and pay attention to detail

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline preferred, or equivalent work experience
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in database administration
Compensation And Benefits
The salary range for this position is \(82,000 - \)110,000 per year, dependent on experience, education, and geographic location. In addition to a competitive salary, we provide an annual bonus program and an outstanding benefits package.
