ZI Machine Mfg. located 30 miles east of Sacramento is searching for experienced lathe CNC machinists to join our team. We are a very family-oriented machining company that specializes in CNC turning and milling primarily for the Aerospace/Defense industry. ZI Machine was started in 1983 and has made a name for itself due to our obsession with detail and quality.

Here at Zi Machine Mfg, we offer a competitive compensation package, but we excel in work / life balance. We work a 4-10 schedule (6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. M-Th), with occasional / optional overtime on Fridays. We also treat our team members exceptionally well with catered lunches and company parties. We are looking for someone with the following skills:

• 5 years of CNC Lathe experience
• Twin Spindle/Turret setup knowledge a plus
• Team player who can work with rest of the team and with QC to ensure part meets print
• Knowledge of hand tools to perform quick reference checks while running parts
• A positive and committed attitude to support our mission of providing quality parts to the Aerospace/Defense industry
• Ability to train and support operators in their pursuits to becoming a successful machinist
• Ability to design fixtures for certain jobs if needed
• Create set up / operating instructions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
