Inside Sales Manager oversees the activities of sales representatives with an assigned territory or portfolio of existing customers that primarily conduct remote sales calls. Coordinates closely with marketing and field sales to gather insights and understand customers' unique needs, market conditions, and competitors. Being an Inside Sales Manager develops sales strategies and supporting activities, including renewals, special offers, and discounts. Provides appropriate product information to meet the needs of individual customers, support upselling, and achieve sales targets. Additionally, Inside Sales Manager trains and coaches staff in selling and relationship-building skills needed to grow and maintain sales pipelines. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Inside Sales Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Inside Sales Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     As a subsidiary of Goldbelt, Inc., Goldbelt Security is an 8(a) Alaska Native Corporation providing product procurement, distribution, and logistics to the Federal Government. Goldbelt Security partners with a diverse array of trusted vendors to quickly deliver the products and services needed to fulfill our customers’ missions. The candidate is responsible for the management of the Inside Sales program.

    JOB DECRIPTION:

    Goldbelt Security is seeking an experienced Inside Sales Manager to create and manage a cross-functional inside sales team to support our rapidly growing portfolio and customer base. Create processes to monitor individual and company sales performance and implement changes as needed to ensure continued progression to meet company goals. 

     

    Responsibilities

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage Inside Sales Team: Provide support, training and mentoring to sale team. Deliver clear and reasonable sales expectations and goals. Evaluate and document individual and team performance, providing positive constructive feedback.
    • Lead Generation: Develop and implement processes and creative strategies to source new sales opportunities through in-bound lead follow up, outbound cold calls and e-mails. Identifies and leads the implementation of innovative inside sales platforms, processes, and associated metrics. 
    • Sales Execution: Contributes to and implements sales strategies, processes, and practices to ensure revenue budget, long-term growth and strategic distribution goals are met.  Develops meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty.  Develops understanding of customer needs and requirements. 
    • Technical Support: Acts as the primary contact for in-bound technical support inquiries on Goldbelt Security’s products and services. Provides technical support and training to the sales team on enabling technologies such as customer relationship management platforms as well as products and services.
    • Sales Forecasting:  Contributes to and implements strategies to advance sales forecasting and reporting to uncover trends that enable growth, margin capture, enhanced sales forecasting, and increased inventory turnover.

    BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Additional education, training or experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
    • 5 Years Sales experience
    • Proven track record of successful sales development and management
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Leadership skills to develop, organize and execute significant sales activities, including building teams, assessing win probability, and executing customer call plans
    • Experienced and Proficient with federal government budget, investments, contract vehicles and acquisition processes (SAM.gov, Acquisitions Planning Forecast System (AFPS), Unisom, FedMall)
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style
    • Excellent computer skills and proficient in excel, word, and outlook
    • Must be US Citizen and be eligible to obtain a security clearance

    Pay and Benefits

    The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 annually.
