Installation & Maintenance Technician Director directs the installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing of switches, cables, and other telecommunications equipment in the field to ensure optimum network usage and quality. Ensures compliance to customer specifications and company requirements. Being an Installation & Maintenance Technician Director leads all functions and ensures they are completed on time and within budget. Oversees the scheduling of installation and maintenance services. Additionally, Installation & Maintenance Technician Director requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to top management. The Installation & Maintenance Technician Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. Diesel Technician/ Floor Tech

    As a Diesel Technician, with our company, you will focus on fixing and maintaining our current fleet, while giving our customers equipment quality repairs.You will be providing preventative maintenance, diagnostic tests and maintenance, DOT inspections, and repair/ replace damaged parts to all of our fleet.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on trucks and commercial tractor-trailers. This includes conducting inspections and diagnostic tests to identify and repair worn or damaged parts and checking tires, wheels, brakes, air systems, starting systems, engine/transmission/chassis, clutch/linkage, and emissions system.
    • Conduct inspections and testing of diesel-powered vehicles and equipment
    • Repair and replace faulty components, such as fuel injectors, pistons, and gaskets
    • Conduct brake repairs and adjustments as needed
    • Perform hydraulic system repairs and maintenance
    • Perform all assigned planned maintenance on our company trucks and trailers.
    • Perform trailer repair to include checking running gear including brakes, tires/wheels, air systems, suspension, electrical systems, and lights.
    • Perform truck and truck-trailer DOT inspection.
    • May verify vehicle performance by conducting road drives and adjusting controls.
    • Respond to emergency breakdown calls
    • Maintain a safe work environment
    • Assist in cleaning and keeping the workshop clean and organized.
    • Use power tools and specialized equipment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
    • Perform all work in compliance with organizational safety, health and environmental policies, and federal regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and DOT.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    General Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
    • Basic mechanical aptitude and 2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred)
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Basic computer skills
    • Previous experience as a technician/ diesel technician
    • Knowledge of shop equipment
    • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

    • While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg.

    Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 40 per week
