Commercial Facilities Maintenace covers a broad scope of work including handyman, electrical, carpentry, concrete, glass, fencing, plumbing, painting, asphalt, doors, and much more.
Qualified candidates would start on a 30 day probationary period at $15 hourly (raise to be given at end of probation based on overall skills and punctuality). During probation, candidates will train with other members on the team, candidates must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation to meet with team members and ride to job sites. After successful completion of 30 day period, candidate will be given company truck/van for transportation and company credit card for job expenses and fuel.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including electrical repairs, plumbing repairs, concrete repairs, drywall repairs, painting, and all general handyman maintenance
- Conduct inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and resolve issues
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks based on urgency
- Fabricate and install new equipment or components as needed
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of the facility
- Provide excellent customer service
Qualifications:
- Basic set of power tools and hand tools (other tools needed will be provided)
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing systems, and general handyman skills
- Ability to use multiple applications to check in and out of job sites
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and guide others
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and with others
