Installation & Maintenance Technician Director directs the installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing of switches, cables, and other telecommunications equipment in the field to ensure optimum network usage and quality. Ensures compliance to customer specifications and company requirements. Being an Installation & Maintenance Technician Director leads all functions and ensures they are completed on time and within budget. Oversees the scheduling of installation and maintenance services. Additionally, Installation & Maintenance Technician Director requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to top management. The Installation & Maintenance Technician Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. Meets all qualifications above and exhibits proficiency in truck and Jeep minor suspension kits, brakes, general suspension repair, and intermediate installation of accessories
Qualifications for Advanced Level:
Meets all qualifications above and displays expertise in IFS, straight axle suspension, alignments, and advanced installation of Jeep and Truck accessories, including wiring lighting accessories, winches, and power steps
Qualifications for Senior Level:
Meets all qualifications above and demonstrates exceptional skills in suspension types, electrical work, alignments, and welding. Proficient in replacing ball joints, steering racks, pitman and idler arms, tie-rod ends. Knowledgeable in ring and pinions, axle builds, and drive trains
Qualifications for Master Level:
Meets all qualifications above and exhibits high proficiency across all skill classifications as outlined above
