Job Summary
The Broadband Technician I is responsible for residential installation and disconnections for data, video, and phone on the customer premises with a high level of focus on customer service, customer education, and quality of work.
This role will be responsible for ensuring and recording correct RF signal levels. The BBT I is required to communicate with leadership and dispatch as needed.
Astound is seeking to fill up to two openings for the Broadband Technician role.
Duties and Responsibilities
Residential install and disconnects* (data, video, phone) on customer premises
Ensure / record correct RF and signal levels within specifications
Communication with leadership and dispatch as needed
Customer education
Operate company vehicle in safe and responsible manner
Other duties as assigned
Requirements / Qualifications
Education : High school diploma or equivalent
Experience : 0 (Entry Level)
Competencies : Maintain satisfactory driving record and have a valid driver's license
