Job Description

A Designer is responsible for completing the following duties:

• Use Autodesk Inventor to create and maintain models and detail drawings for vibratory equipment
• Contribute ideas for new designs or improving existing designs
• Create accurate bills of material in a structured manner
• Work with sales group, shop, and customers to complete tasks according to schedule
• Make sensible material selections for new and custom products
• Complete revision changes to drawings and BOMs
• Ensure designs are functional, easily manufactured, meet customer expectations and Superior Industries’ engineering standards
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Technical education or applicable experience in drafting
• Training or experience in using Autodesk Inventor or similar 3D CAD software, AutoCAD, and Windows-based programs
• Thorough understanding of dimensioning and tolerances
