    We are seeking a Senior Manager/Manager of Instructional Design who will oversee the development of comprehensive and accessible learning solutions for patients and healthcare providers. Your role will focus on ensuring content alignment, enhancing accessibility, and incorporating immersive learning experiences. With a detailed eye for the learner's journey, you will apply instructional expertise to design accessible and impactful learning solutions. 

    Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties
    • Lead the instructional design process, from needs analysis to the implementation and evaluation of learning and training outcomes. 
    • Ensure the development of accessible learning materials in Articulate and Camtasia that adhere to WCAG 2.0 AA guidelines, making education inclusive for all learners. 
    • Innovate with immersive learning techniques, including storytelling and scenario-based learning, to deeply engage and educate learners. 
    • Manage the entire content development lifecycle, upholding the highest standards of educational design and impact. 
    • Cultivate an empathetic understanding of learners, designing instructional materials that cater to diverse needs and preferences. 
    • Collaborate with a team of subject matter experts, digital learning developers, and stakeholders to produce cohesive and comprehensive educational experiences. 
    • Keep up-to-date of the latest instructional design trends and adult learning theories to continually enhance our learning solutions. 
    • Effectively partner with Quality to build training in compliance with GxP regulations and document SOP’s and work instructions for the Clinical Education function.
    • Partner cross-functionally with other Sequel training groups to establish the “Sequel Way” of developing and launching training.
    • Key stakeholder for user acceptance testing of virtual and digital learning experiences.

    Minimum Requirements
    • Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, adult learning or another relevant field preferred
    • 5 years of experience in instructional design

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    • Strong experience developing accessible training that adheres to WCAG 2.0 AA guidelines.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of instructional design methodologies, adult learning theories, and the use of content development tools such as Articulate Storyline. 
    • Proven track record in creating and implementing instructional materials that cover the full development cycle, especially those that are accessible and immersive. 
    • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams. 
    • A passion for developing educational experiences that are both engaging and impactful, with demonstrated success in bringing innovative ideas to life. 
    • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
