Instructional Technology Specialist jobs in Charleston, SC

Your CLIENT is seeking a dedicated and skilled Inventory Control Specialist (ICS) to join our team.

The ICS will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate management of inventory within our warehouse, specifically in shipping and receiving. The ICS will be responsible for receiving incoming shipments, tracking inventory of received products, and ensure orders being shipped out match each packing slip.

Responsibilities:

• Proper receiving and inspection of received product.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining accurate records.
• Safely handle and transport materials weighing up to 75 lbs. using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Properly store and account for all SKUs in the warehouse.
• Maintain an accurate log of product disposals, including damages,
• Maintain records of received shipments, checking off against receiving documents.
• Alerting management and proper documentation of any discrepancies.
• Labeling and maintaining inventory in the warehouse.
• Review all shipping packing lists daily, communicating with purchasing of any missing product.
• Meet performance standards of the department (goals & objectives).
• Provide daily support in warehouse operations, ensuring accurate tracking of inventory levels.

Requirements:

• Experience in shipping/receiving.
• Ability to accurately receive, record, and manage inventory using computerized systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items, up to 85 lbs. with or without accommodation.
• Certified forklift operator or be willing to get certified.
• Complete and pass a full background check and drug test.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
