    Technology Integration Specialist

    Department: Technology

    Reports To: Director of Technology

    FLSA Status: Non-Exempt


    SUMMARY
    Training and support for implementation of curriculum technology integration projects and student information systems


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    include the following:

    • Training and support for all educational assessment software, all digital curriculum tools, and digital textbooks
    • Work collaboratively with the Assistant Superintendents on training needs for digital textbook content
    • Training and support for distance learning programs
    • Collaborate with database manager as database and module support
    • Training and support for the student information system modules, reports, and report cards
    • Provide staff training and district level management for teacher and student use hardware/software programs and licensing
    • Provide staff training and district level management for school and district website tools
    • Collaborate with district and building administration on vetting and posting social media content to school or district sites
    • Provide backup phone and computer support for HELP desk when needed
    • Technical and administrative support for summer school software programs
    • Other duties as assigned

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
    Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of technology experience


    SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents and spreadsheets. Ability to respond orally and in written form accurately, professionally, and effectively to inquiries and complaints from administrators, employees, and vendors. Ability to utilize appropriate computer software as needed to perform the duties of the position. Ability to utilize office equipment. Ability to work with and apply mathematic concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions. Ability to solve practical problems. Ability to organize large amounts of materials. Ability to work on multiple tasks.
