Porter, Muirhead, Cornia & Howard (PMCH) is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Full-Charge Bookkeeper with 3 years of experience to join our fast-paced CPA firm. This role focuses on ensuring accurate and efficient bookkeeping for multiple clients while collaborating with an energetic and supportive team. You will play a key role for the firm to deliver exceptional service through bookkeeping preparation, utilizing up to date technology, and collaborating with your peers to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of bookkeeping: Oversee full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance for multiple clients across various industries.
• Take ownership: Manage all bookkeeping responsibilities for multiple clients across various industries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness so that client deadlines are met.
• Streamline with Technology: Use QuickBooks Online/Desktop, and other accounting software to maintain accurate and up-to-date records. Leverage tools to improve workflows and efficiency in daily processes.
• Collaborate with confidence: Work closely with CPA's, accountants, and other team members to support client projects and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Proactive Energy: Address and resolve client inquiries with a focus on efficiency and client satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
• Multi-task like a Pro: Manage competing priorities across multiple client accounts while maintaining a high level of detail and organization.

Skills

• 3 years of experience with full charge bookkeeping, QuickBooks and completed an Associate degree in Accounting or possess equivalent experience.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft products.
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and QuickBooks Desktop.
• Strong understanding of debits and credits and accounting fundamentals.
• Comfortable with various accounting software and tools that enhance efficiency (e.g., bill payment systems, payroll platforms, cloud-based tools).
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
• A team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
• Flexibility to work additional hours as needed during peak season.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
