Summary Description: The primary role of Design Technology Support is to aid in the development and maintenance of company standards, project templates and library content. This role will require troubleshooting and support to company technology users. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of Revit and be a team player with good communication skills.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Maintain personal continuing education of the firm's design technology, as listed below, to be a subject matter expert and resource for the firm.
• Assist in the development and execution of best practices, firmwide standards and expectations for design excellence.
• Under direction of Design Technology Manager develop training documentation
• Troubleshoots general Revit project-related issues with limited assistance.
• Assists Design Technology Manager with the day-to-day management of BIM content and applications.
• Conduct training in both classroom, small group, and 1 on 1 environments as needed.
• Assists project teams with model setup as needed.
• Provide troubleshooting support to end users.
• Assist with technology planning and implementation of technology projects.

Education/Experience: A bachelors in architecture, interior design or construction management is preferred but not required. 3 to 5 years of experience in the AEC industry is required, preferably in a BIM or VDC administrative role. Requires comprehensive knowledge of computer hardware/software concepts.

Certifications/Licenses/Registrations: Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator’s license and willingness to use insured personal vehicle in the course of employment.

Qualifications/Skills: Candidate must be eager to learn and have excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, exceptional initiative, the ability to work effectively in a professional atmosphere, and strong written and oral communication skills.

• Strong knowledge of Revit with a focus on architectural systems and family creation
• Proficiency in BIM 360 and Autodesk Construction Cloud required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Familiar with the design process and construction documents.
• Experience with UNIFI, Clarity, Dynamo, Grasshopper, Python, Navisworks Manage, Power BI, Smartsheet, Enscape, and Lumion is a plus.
• Ability to demonstrate effective communication and mentorship/leadership skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to take action confidently and decisively.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, personally driven to consistently meet project deadlines and performance goals.
• Ability to work independently, as well as with various disciplines and types of people.
• Committed to being an effective, contributing team player.
