Job Overview:
We are seeking an advanced junior/Intermediate CAD Production person in Architecture to join our team. You will be responsible for assisting in the design and CAD Production for various projects. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the creation of innovative designs and bring ideas to life. You will work with the Principal of this Architecture firm.
Responsibilities:
-Produce & develop detailed plans and specifications
- Utilize software such as MicroStation, Grasshopper, Revit, Bluebeam, CAD, Rhinoceros 3D, and AutoCAD to create accurate and precise designs
- Assist in the production of construction documents and drawings
- Conduct research on materials, products, and building codes to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure project timelines are met
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on improvements or modifications
- Assist in the coordination of project activities with external vendors and contractors
- Maintain accurate documentation of project progress and changes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Strong proficiency in software such as MicroStation, Grasshopper, Revit, Bluebeam, AutoCAD and Rhinoceros 3D.
- Knowledge of design principles and interior design concepts
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate designs
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Effective communication skills to convey ideas and concepts clearly
