Your work will require you to have highly developed expertise in project management, architectural design and technical knowledge. This management-level role provides the opportunity to pursue professional growth while contributing to a firm with a deep knowledge of the business of higher education and a passion for improving student and faculty experiences.The Role Priorities
- Manage the clients, project staff and consultants through the project process on multiple complex projects.
- Utilize operational management tools including workload forecasting, resource planning and project team development.
- Manage and Develop project documents as per client, regulatory and industry standards.
- Coach, mentor and develop staff, including identifying and recruiting high-quality staff with leadership potential.
- Create and foster relationships with key clients, while managing client expectations.
- Maintain project budgets to ensure profitability.
- Apply interpersonal communication skills to build strong working relationships, resolve conflicts and motivate the project team.
- Collaborate across other disciplines with internal and external team members.
- Promote a workplace culture that is consistent with the BHDP Collective Ambition.
Skills Qualifications- A professional, accredited degree in Architecture is preferred, along with 10 years of experience and professional registration.
- Experience with higher education projects and clients highly desired
- Strong communication skills
- Expert knowledge in advanced technology (e.g., Revit, Sketch-Up, Rhino)
- Demonstrated project management and staff leadership success
- A drive to achieve
