EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in Biology or Biological Sciences.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general scientific articles, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals. Effective presentation skills required and ability to respond to questions from students, members of the college community, and the general public.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, etc.). Ability to solve practical problems and handle various situations with staff, students, and technology. Use common sense in everyday situations to create a healthy learning and working environment.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Ability to work in a highly technical environment. Computer competency is critical.
