At this time, the office location for this position is at the WCJC Wharton Campus although teaching location and hours are subject to change during employment with WCJC to meet department/division needs to ensure student success. The anticipated start date for this position is August 21, 2023. Pay for this position is based on a 9 month contract working fall and spring semesters. The permanent responsibility of a faculty member is to provide the most effective instruction possible in his/her discipline. Supervision is received from appropriate supervisor. The faculty member works to insure that his/her instruction is meeting the educational needs of students.
Requirements
This position requires a master's degree (in Chemistry or other discipline) and a minimum of 18 graduate hours in chemistry from a regionally accredited institution. A criminal background check is also required.
