Instructor - Education teaches courses in the discipline area of education. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Education provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Education typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. Summer Camp - Part-time Group Leader Portsmouth, RI
At AlphaBEST, our campers are filled with curiosity and wonder! As their guide, you'll lead them through fun learning activities, with plenty of support and training.
Pay Rate: $15.00 an hour
Location: Elementary schools in Portsmouth, RI
Camp operating hours are: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

As an AlphaBEST Guide, you'll be trained and have the chance to do the following:
- Plan and facilitate core programming to advance the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of children.
- Work collaboratively with peers to share program-related information and complete adventurous tasks that ignite a child's sense of wonder.
- Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on the student's interests and talents.
- Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, and parent relationships are fostered.
Here's what you'll need:
- Must have the verifiable education and/or experience that is required for childcare licensing by the state of Rhode Island.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs.
- Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by state childcare licensing regulations.
- Proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing regulations.
