Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Educational Assessment provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Educational Assessment typically reports to a department head. We have opening positions for a qualified ESL Instructors at GT Educational center.
GT Educational Center is a CEA accredited institution and is approved by the division of private business and vocational school of the Illinois Board of Higher Education. Instructors utilize appropriate class materials and create a safe and productive learning environment while teaching low beginner and/or advanced level students. The ESL instructor is responsible for performing his/her primary duties and following GT's policies to ensure students' successful achievement of the program's objectives and outcomes.
Requirements include: BA / MA in TESOL, ESL endorsement, minor in TESOL, or CELTA, Oxford Seminar, TEFL.
