Instructor - Educational Assessment teaches courses in the discipline area of educational assessment, testing, and measurement. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Educational Assessment provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Educational Assessment typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. Klein Learning Solutions offers one-on-one individualized and structured multisensory instruction to students who struggle with reading, spelling, handwriting and math and those students who have been diagnosed with Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and Dyscalculia. KLS is looking to hire a passionate qualified instructor who will teach students who have been diagnosed with Dyslexia and/or Dysgraphia or students who struggle with spelling, reading, and/or writing. As an instructor, a preferred background in education and experience in teaching. Instructor should be patient and detail-oriented, as well as be able to work on their own under minimal supervision. Instructor should be able to construct teaching materials in line with the needs of our students. In addition, instructor should have excellent written communication skills and the ability to work well with students, parents and faculty members alike. Ultimately, a desire to give our students the tools they need to be successful in life. Characteristics needed: Applicant should be compassionate, driven, positive, self-starter, attention to detail, flexible, punctual, desire to learn and teach, motivated, team player and someone who can stand by KLS’s core values and goals.
