Instructor - Electrical Engineering teaches courses in the discipline area of electrical engineering. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Electrical Engineering provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Electrical Engineering typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research.     As an Engineering Construction Materials Field Technician, your exposure to a wide variety of responsibilities may include but not be limited to:

    • Work independently in the field and on construction sites performing quality control testing of concrete, soils, and other construction materials
    • Complete and submit daily reports related to observations and testing activities
    • Promptly communicate with site supervisors and project managers of issues or deviations from plans and specifications
    • Follow all corporate and job site safety procedures
    • Work directly on site with our clients
    • Attend job site meetings as needed
    • May occasionally perform lab testing in our offices

    Desired Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Construction-related training or technical training desirable
    • Certifications in Concrete and Soil preferred
    • Must possess a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle
    • Must be available to work in all types of indoor and outdoor environments
