Job Title: Freelance English Language Instructor

Location: Belgrade, MT (In-person classes)

Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English instructor to join our team. As an instructor, you will have the opportunity to educate and inspire learners of all ages, with a focus on adult education.

As a contract English Instructor, your primary responsibility will be to teach English to Spanish-speaking adults. Classes are held 3 nights during the week 7:00 - 8:30 pm. This position is contracted for 3 months (September - November), with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, interactive, and culturally responsive English lessons, adhering to curriculum guidelines.
• Build positive relationships with students to motivate and encourage them, while respecting their confidentiality.
• Create lesson plans that address diverse learning needs and foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies and use learning technology to enhance the learning experience.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote confidence and growth.

Requirements:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-initiative and creative thinking
• Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
• Passion for education and a commitment to student success.

Preferred Qualifications

• English Language Teaching (TESOL/TEFL) certification or relevant teaching experience.
• Proficiency in Spanish

Compensation:

• $20-25 per hour

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 per week

Schedule:

• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
