Instructor - English teaches courses in the discipline area of English. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - English provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - English typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. Duties:
- Teach intensive English for academic purposes from the A1 Beginner level to the B2 Upper Intermediate level. We have two sections available at the time of listing: Listening/Speaking 5 (9-11:30 AM, Monday through Friday) and Reading/Writing 5 (1-3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Each section requires 12.5 contact hours per week. These are in-person classes. The classes begin on May 28, 2024 and end on August 09, 2024.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in TESOL or related field
- Teaching certification or relevant teaching experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and engage students in the learning process
- Knowledge of current teaching methods and educational trends
- Familiarity with educational technology tools and resources
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Pay: $40.00 - $42.00 per hour
