Being an Instructor - English provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - English typically reports to a department head. Sepia Language Study is a small language school located in downtown Vancouver, Washington. Sepia was created by a teacher and doctoral candidate who sought to provide high quality world language instruction without the limitations of traditional public school positions. We opened in Fall 2022 offering all levels of Spanish and French, and our school immediately took off very quickly. We have since added German to our offerings, and are continuing to expand each term.
The individual selected for this position will be asked to teach beginning level adult ESL classes in the Fall, with the possibility of adding more levels later in the school year.
This position will begin in August 2024 and continue through the 2024-25 school year.
Compensation is dependent on student enrollment.
