LB&B Associates Inc. is currently seeking a Assistant Engineer Technician / Instructor in the Norfolk, VA area. Position is contingent upon contract award.

Assistant Engineering Technician/Instructor :

The Assistant Engineering Technician assigned to the MUTC shall perform equipment maintenance, as directed by the Lead Contractor Engineer.

• Technician performs non-routine and complex assignments involving responsibility for planning and conducting a complete project of relatively limited scope or a portion of a larger and more diverse project.
• May train and be assisted by lower-level technicians, and constructs major units, devices, or equipment; conducts tests or experiments; analyzes results and redesigns or modifies equipment to improve performance; and reports results.
• Must be able to read schematics
• Must be able to use electronic test equipment required in the performance of the position
• While performing maintenance, they shall follow all applicable safety, HAZMAT and environmental regulations
• When not performing maintenance, the employee will be assigned as an instructor

Minimum education/experience required.

• A High School Diploma, plus four (4) years of military or civilian experience in the use and repair of UNREP, MHE and OHE equipment.

Secret Clearance Required.
